Terms & Conditions

We keep this simple. The summary below covers what matters for your booking. The full legal terms follow underneath.

Effective from: 26 July 2026

Your Booking, In Plain English

This page explains the terms that matter to you as a client, in plain language. It's a summary, not a replacement — our full Terms & Conditions of Service govern every booking and are set out in full further down this page, or available on request.

What You're Agreeing To

  • Booking a service with us means you accept our full Terms & Conditions of Service.
  • Quotes are based on what you tell us and our standard Rate Card. They're valid for 30 days.
  • If a property needs more work than expected — heavy build-up, damage, or mould beyond a surface check — we'll tell you before we do it, not after.

Getting a Quote

  • All prices include GST unless we say otherwise.
  • Mould and damp are checked at no charge on every visit. If we find something, we'll walk you through it before any extra cost applies.

Your Booking

  • A booking is confirmed once we've agreed a date, time, and scope.
  • Please make sure we can get in — keys, codes, or someone to let us in — at the agreed time. A locked-out visit may attract a call-out fee.
  • Need to cancel or move a booking? Give us 24 hours' notice where you can. Cancellations inside 24 hours may incur a fee.

Payment

  • Invoices are due within 7 days, unless you're an ongoing contract client with different terms agreed in writing.
  • Late payments may attract interest, and we may pause future work until an overdue invoice is settled.

If Something's Not Right

  • Not happy with a clean? Tell us within 48 hours of the job finishing.
  • If it's a fair call, we'll come back and fix the disputed areas at no extra cost.
  • We carry public liability insurance. Any damage caused by our work should be reported within 48 hours with photos, so we can act on it fast.

Who Does the Work

  • Our own team delivers your cleaning and property maintenance.
  • Where a job needs a licensed trade — electrical, plumbing, mould certification — we coordinate a vetted subcontractor. You still deal with us as your one point of contact, and we manage the quality and paperwork.

Your Information

  • We handle your details in line with our Privacy Policy.
  • We only share what's needed — for example, property details with a licensed trade partner doing certified work on your job.

A Note for Portfolio & Executive Partner Clients

If you're on our Executive Partner Program (20+ properties or a single large commercial site), a separate Executive Partner Agreement sits alongside these terms and covers your retainer, rate lock, and delegated authority arrangements. Ask your Account Manager for a copy, or see the full detail in our Terms & Conditions of Service below.

This summary doesn't cover every clause — access requirements, subcontracting detail, dispute process, and governing law are all set out in full in our Terms & Conditions of Service below. Where anything here and the full Terms disagree, the full Terms apply.

Terms & Conditions of Service

The complete legal terms — 13 clauses. Applies to all bookings made with Simplicity Asset Care.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a service with Simplicity Asset Care ("the Company", "we", "us"), the client ("you") agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These Terms apply to all residential, commercial, and asset cleaning and maintenance services unless varied in writing.

2. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are based on information provided by the client and our standard Rate Card. All prices include GST unless stated otherwise. Quotes are valid for 30 days. A condition surcharge may apply if a property requires above-average cleaning or remediation — this will be communicated and agreed before work commences wherever practical.

3. Bookings and Scheduling

Bookings are confirmed once a date, time, and scope of work are agreed. The Company will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed timeframes but is not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including third-party trade delays, access issues, or extreme weather.

4. Access to Property

The client must provide safe and timely access to the property or asset at the agreed time, including keys, codes, or an escort where required. If access cannot be obtained, a call-out fee may apply.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

6. Payment Terms

Invoices are payable within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing for ongoing contract clients. Late payments may incur interest at the rate prescribed under the Penalty Interest Rates Act 1983 (Vic), and the Company reserves the right to suspend further services until overdue amounts are paid.

7. Service Standards and Re-Cleans

We aim to deliver every service to a professional standard. If you are not satisfied, you must notify us within 48 hours of service completion. We will arrange a re-clean of the disputed areas at no additional cost where the complaint is valid and reported within this timeframe.

8. Subcontracted Services

Certain services may be delivered by vetted independent subcontractors engaged by the Company. The Company remains your single point of contact and retains responsibility for coordinating, documenting, and quality-assuring all subcontracted work.

9. Insurance and Liability

The Company holds public liability insurance. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or damage arising from defects in the property not caused by our work. Claims for damage caused by our service must be reported within 48 hours with supporting evidence (e.g. photographs).

10. Compliance Documentation

Where applicable, the Company will provide compliance documentation (condition reports, certificates, receipts) as part of the agreed service. The client is responsible for retaining this documentation for their own audit or compliance purposes.

11. Privacy

Client information is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

The Company may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will apply to bookings made after the effective date of the change. Existing contract clients will be given 7 days' written notice of material changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
